This camera is one of Leica-copy models manufactured in Soviet Union. In Soviet Union, a tremendous number of Leica-copy cameras was manufactured after the W.W.II. that it is said that their overall number, from the first one manufactured in 1932 up to date, exceed Leica's gross product. Among those Leica-copy models, the earlier type of Sorki and Fedo are specially popular these days.

This Sorki 6 has the collapsible barrel lens-Indastar 50, f3.5/50mm. This camera employs Leica screw-in mount. The shutter speeds are B, and from 1/30 to 1/500 sec. and also time exposuring is enabled by setting the shutter speed dial to "B", and then depressing the shutter release button, and at the same time turning it to fix it. On the left-hand side of the camera front, there are M and X sync.
