Select the shutter speed with the shutter speed dial.
Then, depress the exposure button (in the red circle) to get a correct aperture value.
*A correct aperture value is indicated in the window beside the aperture ring on the lens.
Here, if the lamp turns on in the viewfinder, exposure is under, so re-select the shutter speed.
