Giving the front panel of the focusing hood a little pressure toward the inside pops up the magnifier.
The forcusing hood can be used also as the direct-view finder by pushing down the front panel of it, which is the mechanism put on from R'cord III (1950) for R'cord series.
The front panel springs back up by sliding the button at the hood back.
