Around the shutter button, there is the shutter locking ring.
When the gap of the ring is against at "L" (in the picture shows "1"), the shutter button is locked and against at the dot (in the picture; "2"), the lock is released.
See to it that the lock is released, make blind exposures until "1" comes in the film counter.
