Konica 3 was introduced in 1958.
Since Konica series, which started to be manufactured after the W.W.II, had been popular for its strong body structure and the Hexanon lens that could be attached to it, Konica 3 gained a high reputation in consequent of its employing the self-cocking mechanism, the double-exposure prevention and the Albada bright-frame finder. And also, this is the first domestical camera that employed the film wind lever on the camera front.
One of the feature of this camera is that double images in the rangefinder are indicated in complementary colors, means that the one of double images is indicated in yellow, and the other in purple. This makes it easy to coincide them with one when focusing.
