Nikon F history

April, 1959 : Nikon F was released. (Serial number started from 640***.)
April, 1962 : Nikon F photomic was released. (External celenium meter was built in photomic viewfinder.)
September, 1965 : Nikon F photomic T was released. (Built-in meter was changed from external metering to TTL metering.)
April, 1967 : Nikon F photomic TN was released. (Avaraged light reading on photomic T was changed to center-weighted light reading.)
October, 1968 : Nikon F photomic FTN was released. (Maximum aperture indexing when attaching the lens became easier, called "Click-Click" operation.)
September, 1971 : Nikon F2 was released.
1972 : The apperarance of Nikon F was changed in detail - NewF was launched. (Serial number from 730***.)
1974 : The last Nikon F was manufactured. (Serial number up to 745***.)
